Reading Intervention for Bilingual Children with Reading Challenges

Parents, and their school-aged children with reading impairment, who attend French school (not French Immersion) and speak English at home with at least one parent, are invited to participate.

The study requires parent and child participation for a period of 8 weeks. Research meetings/activities will be held online 4 times from September 2023 through March 2024. Brief 5-minute meetings will be held online with your child every 2 weeks from September to December (5 times) and from January to March (5 times).

Children who participate will receive 2 sets of decodable books.
