Early Reading Interventions in French Immersion Project
Reporting on a school-based early literacy intervention for potentially at-risk readers that was initiated by teachers and administrators in École Howden a French immersion public school in Winnipeg Manitoba.
The success of this project could not have been achieved without the expertise and on-going involvement of Ron Cadez, the Divisional Principal of the Louis Rield School District, Robert George a Louis Riel School Psychologist , Dr. Fred Genesee Emeritus professor of McGill University, Dr. Caroline Erdos a literacy expert and consultant, Howden teachers Nicole Neveux and Michelle Follows, and researcher Dr. Kathleen Hipfner-Boucher.
